It delights Sarah to share her floral expertise and knowledge. Throughout the year, she holds regular flower workshops and flower experiences at her studio in Chichester, West Sussex. Alternatively, Sarah is happy to organise a bespoke workshop for you and your group.
Flower Experiences for all levels: Sarah believes that anybody can create an ‘Insta’ worthy floral design. So, whether you are a complete novice or an accomplished artist, you’ll find a Driftwood Flowers workshop or experience that is sure to cultivate your creative skills.
Blooming marvellous fun: The few hours you spend immersing yourself in flowers is guaranteed to be friendly, relaxed and lots of fun. Sarah works with small groups of no more than six at all her flower workshops so she can give each participant her personal attention. Every dose of floral fun is accompanied by some tasty homemade edible treats and washed down with a cuppa or glass of liquid refreshment.
Something to take home: Our flower experiences take place throughout the year, so, you will always leave with a seasonally inspired floral design to brighten your home or give as a gift.
You will be amazed at what you can achieve with a little guidance. It might be the perfect spring hand-tie, an Easter table arrangement, a seasonal design using local flowers or a Christmas garland to delight your visitors over the festive season.
The cost of your course covers all the materials you’ll use to create your one-off masterpiece.
Gifts & Bespoke Flower Workshops: Flower experiences make the perfect gift for a flower enthusiast or gardener. Alternatively, we can host a bespoke workshop for up to six people, designed especially for you and your friends.
I will also be running two six week courses from March. One will be an introduction to flower arranging and the second one will cover more complex flower arranging. Do call for more information.
Keep an eye on this page for details of future flower workshops, experiences and events. These are all held at the Driftwood Flowers studio in Chichester, West Sussex. Or call 07881 812 295 to discuss a bespoke event.
If you have a Flower Experience idea that you would like to share with a group of friends why not give us a call to talk about it?
We can cater for small groups birthdays, small Hen Parties, or just an informal gathering of friends who love flowers and want to learn something different. We would love to help and can arrange tasty nibbles and a bottle of bubbly if required.

I plan to run two 6 week evening courses, this Autumn, on the principles of flower arranging, for beginners and for those who would like some more knowledge.
These will be designed to the needs of those who sign up so please let me know if you are interested.
For several years we have been holding workshops for Christmas wreath making. Many people have returned year on year and I am very keen to continue. I am working on the best way to construct these given the Covid 19 advice. If you are interested and have a view about how we should do it, please let me know.
Dates will be published in September.
Hi Sarah, I just wanted to thank you again for the super class for my mum today...she absolutely loved it and has now already started to plan her new hobby. She is delighted with her creations and I am so pleased as she finally got to have a go at a lifelong passion. I'm so pleased I spoke with you and arranged with you and will be sure to recommend to all my friends. Thank you for the Tea and for allowing mum to do two decorations. That was really special- thank you..I'm sure my mum will see you again!! Many thanks, Lizzy
This is the second year that I have done a Christmas Wreath Course at Driftwood flowers. I thoroughly enjoyed both times so much it’s become an essential part of the run up to Christmas. Sarah is a patient and easy-going teacher, able to deal with all levels of ability within one class making it fun and informative at the same time. The thing I love most is that everyone comes away with a wreath unique to them that looks stunning, suits their home and lasts right through until January. So much nicer than anything I have seen to buy. Sarah guides and assists where needed but at no time do you feel like you have to do things her way as I have experienced at other classes. You feel totally at ease and both times I have come away having had a thoroughly enjoyable evening with lots of laughs and thrilled with what I have made. The homemade mince pies and mulled wine are an added treat. I’m looking forward to attending more flower arranging classes this year. January 16th 2017
Wow! What a fabulous way to celebrate my birthday! A cracking afternoon of learning new tricks at Driftwood Flowers. Sarah is so clever at helping you to understand your materials and to create stunning arrangements in a relaxed and fun environment. On this occasion we used tulips which I adore but had no idea you could do so many creative things with them. I now have 3 simple and beautiful works of art in my house. She also produced a birthday cake for us which was indeed the icing on the cake! Thank you so much and I will certainly be back again soon. 8th feb 2017
